Your Guide to Gun Safety

Keep Gun Pointed in a Safe Direction
One of the most important things you can do when handling a gun is to ensure you point it in a safe direction. This is critical and necessary so that an accident does not occur and somebody close by gets hurt.
Store Guns Unloaded
If you have guns in your home, it is essential that you store them in a safe place, unloaded, so that children or other members of your household can’t get to them. This will keep everyone safe and ensure there is no improper handling of the products.

Store Guns and Ammo Separately
Guns and ammo should be stored separately for a few reasons. First, it prevents unauthorized use of firearms from others who might have access. Additionally, it is important to comply with storage laws which state that guns and ammo must be separated to avoid a critical accident.
Practice Using the Weapon Safely
There are quite a few practices for using a weapon safely that you should be aware of. A few of them include wearing eye and ear protection when shooting, having your guns serviced regularly, and learning the different mechanics of the particular gun you use.
PE Shows, LLC is committed to safe practices with guns and gun accessories. You should always be aware of the weapon in front of you and know how to handle your gun to avoid dangerous situations and incidents. Learn about our CCW class here.
